And You Can't Touch These Korean Pop Stars who visited the Philippines!

I had my 1st Asian, if not International, Road Management work last February 2011 with the arrival of Kyujong & Youngsaeng of SS501. I really didn't know what to expect in this sort of raket that was given to me by my good friend Nixon Sy. It was a good and hectic 5 days with these kpop stars with such a very busy sked lined-up for their Fan Meet!

I was in charge of transportation & security of these 2 together with the whole entourage! We had 8 vehicles in tow to fetch them from the airport to the hotel (sofitel manila). All that buzz and spectacle for Kyujong & Youngsaeng made things even toxic for us! Right on the day of arrival, the 2 Korean Stars went on for the Presscon and One on One interviews with selected TV Shows.

The next day was dedicated to promo guestings on Showtime, Tambayan & DZMM in ABSCBN! I really have no idea who these koreans are at first and how big they are until I saw how fans followed us wherever we go. They even waited and waited at the Hotel Lobby and Passageway just to get a glimpse of their Idols and get a picture of them or even give them gifts.

I was amazed at how they do a FAN MEET for these Korean Stars! So Nice and for me should be done by local artists too coz it really had a concept. Not just a simple mall show or fans day. Gosh these boys are big coz there were a lot of people who came for the event.

Well being with them during meals really exposed me to all that korean food! hahahaha! All i know was KIMCHI, Korean BBQ and Beef Stew but there were a lot more and so Spicy! WhahahahahahaHHHOOOTTT!



Well, i never really got to talk to the 2 Korean Stars but somehow some shorts Glances and Smiles made me feel they appreciate what we did for them. I got to have some new Friends too from the Producers, Marissa Regalado, Ems and all, the Korean Interpreters, Jun Park, Cooper, and all, who surprised me at how they speak Tagalog too and how Jolly they are and some people we worked with along the way. Truly it was a different kind of experience for me and surely that wouldn't be the last time i would work on a Korean Pop Star Event. And even if they are somehow difficult becuase of the language barrier and the demands made...I Don't Care - eh eh eh eh ehr!
